A group of political parties in South Sudan have petitioned the Political Parties Council to reconsider the 50,000-dollar registration fee for running in this year’s election. The National Democratic Movement accuses the council of commercializing the elections process. The head of the Political Parties Council says he has no plans to change the fee.
