Nigerian Journalist Documents Wagner Africa Operations

Philip Obaji Jr., a Nigerian investigative journalist says the death of Yevgeny Prigozhin, the founder of Russia’s Wagner mercenary group, did not stop the operations of the private military organization in Africa. “There is still so much around this group that we haven’t spoken about that we need to tell the world about,” he added, after committing to unpacking Wagner’s operations on the continent. Russia reported Prigozhin died in a plane crash in August. VOA’s Cristina Caicedo spoke to Obaji Jr., and filed this report.
