President Bola Tinubu of Nigeria has recalled all of the country’s career and non-career ambassadors from their posts. Alkasim Abdukadir, special assistant and communications strategist of the Nigerian foreign ministry, says President Tinubu is recalling all diplomats, except the permanent representatives to the United Nations and in Geneva, because the president wants to recalibrate Nigeria’s foreign policy. Abdukadir tells VOA’s James Butty, the diplomats have until October 31 to conclude their activities and return home.
