Nigeria’s Ruling Party Celebrates Victory

Supporters of Nigeria’s ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Wednesday expressed joy after their presidential candidate Bola Tinubu was declared president-elect after Saturday’s highly disputed elections. Tinubu’s supporters said they are hopeful that the newly elected leader will tackle several issues affecting locals, among them are poverty, cash and fuel shortages and insecurity.
