Namibian president Sam Nujoma passed away Saturday at the age of 95. Known as the ‘Founding Father of the Namibian Nation", Nujoma was the first democratically elected president of Namibia, following its independence from South Africa in 1990, subsequently serving 3 three terms in the office until 2005. VOA’s Esther Githui-Ewart spoke to Henry Shimutwikeni, a Namibian political analyst, to speak about President Nujoma’s legacy.
