The Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) aims to combat poverty and corruption through economic growth and stringent accountability measures. Created in 2004 under former U.S. President George W. Bush, MCC has projects throughout Africa and other countries worldwide. VOA’s Carol Castiel spoke to Alice Albright, Millennium Challenge Corporation CEO, who highlights the assistance agency’s role in U.S.-Africa engagement.
