Malawi Church Shut Over Refusal of Polio Vaccine

An apostolic church in southern Malawi has been closed after its leaders refused its members to allow their children to receive polio vaccines in a campaign the Malawi government launched last week for children under 15 years of age. The traditional authority of Mulanje district says she acted because of the impact of poliovirus on unvaccinated children. Lamek Masina reports
