Libya to Expect New Roadmap for Parliamentary and Presidential Elections

Libya’s House of Representatives along with its consultative State Council intends to issue a new roadmap next week, to allow for the formation of a new government and the drafting of electoral laws.
The move, which would set up parliamentary and presidential elections, is seen by observers as a challenge to the head of the Government of National Unity, Abdulhamid Dbeibah, who is currently refusing to hand over power.
