Liberia's President-elect Joseph Boakai says he plans to declare his assets once his tenure begins, as part of an effort to weed out corruption in the West African nation. Boakai, a former vice president in Liberia, won the November presidential run-off election defeating incumbent President George Weah.
Boakai sat down with VOA’s Peter Clottey for an in-depth interview on his plans as he takes office in January 2024.
