Kenya, Somalia reach new collaboration agreement

Kenya and Somalia this week signed an agreement on collaboration in the areas of political consultations, education, and defense. The agreement follows the third Session of the Joint Commission of Cooperation (JCC) between the two countries held in Nairobi last week. Macharia Munene, a professor of history and international relations at the United States International University in Nairobi, Kenya tells VOA’s Douglas Mpuga that the agreement is a small but positive step.
