Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida said Wednesday his country would like to strengthen coordination with Kenya, saying the East African country ''contributes to stability in the region.''
Kishida met with William Ruto in Nairobi where both leaders discussed Russia's invasion of Ukraine and the ongoing crisis in Sudan.
The Japanese Prime Minister also said he was also keen to hear the voices of African countries in the discussions at the G7 Hiroshima Summit later this month.
