Italian film director tells the story of illegal Senegalese migrants

A small auditorium in the outskirts of Senegal’s capital, Dakar, was recently filled with a teary audience as locals gathered to watch the movie “lo Capitano” which was produced by Matteo Garrone, an Italian director.
The movie which toured several parts of the West African nation speaks to why several Senegalese are illegally migrating to other parts of the world.
