The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) says patients with gunshot injuries continue to overwhelm its facilities in South Sudan despite the relative peace across the country. A senior ICRC official in South Sudan says in 2022, the organization treated more than 1,000 people with gunshot wounds. For South Sudan in Focus, Dimo Silva Aurelio reports from Juba.
