Health Report: Telemedicine finds success in Africa

Telemedicine has been a significant alternative in healthcare delivery worldwide during the COVID-19 global pandemic. The healthcare delivery model gained momentum in Africa before the coronavirus outbreak, driven by the rapid expansion of mobile networks and internet connectivity across the continent. However, access remains limited in certain parts of Africa due to issues such as poor infrastructure, insufficient information, and lack of adequate financing.
