Guinea Sacks Dozens of Security Officials Over Jailbreak

Guinean authorities made additional arrests Monday following the weekend jailbreak that freed former military leader Captain Moussa Dadis Camara. Camara was recaptured a few hours later Saturday. Reporter Karim Kamara in Conakry tells VOA’s James Butty, the government sacked 80 members of the regular security forces after accusing them of collaborating with the jail breakers. He also says life is returning to normal in the capital, Conakry, although residents remain fearful.
