Ghanaian Musician Talks US Tour, New Music & Politics

Multiple award-winning Ghanaian artist Edem recently started a U.S. tour, performing at multiple venues in Washington D.C., and networking with several prominent entertainers, among them multiple award-winning musicians Swizz Beats and Jim Jones. The 36-year-old musician this week visited VOA where he sat down with reporter Mike Hove to discuss his trip to the U.S., his recent appearance at the Grammys, possible collaborations with American artists, and a recent “social experiment” that witnessed him announcing a run for public office.
