Ghana’s electoral commission approves presidential candidates for the upcoming election

Ghana’s electoral commission has approved 13 presidential candidates for the coming December 7 general election that will pick the country’s new president, parliament, and local representatives. Among the approved candidates is Mohamed Frimpong of the National Democratic Party (NDP). Frimpong tells VOA's Peter Clottey that the election process will help deepen the country's democracy.
