Gallup Predicts Tough Job For DRC’s Poll Winner

As Democratic Republic of Congo voters cast their ballots this Wednesday in presidential elections, Gallup, the Washington-based survey company, has just released the results of a poll it conducted between August 3 and September 24, 2023. Benedict Vigers, an analyst for Gallup's World Poll, tells VOA’s James Butty, results show that majority of Congolese are struggling to afford necessities such as food and shelter. He says whoever wins the Wednesday elections will face immense challenges.
