G20 to Grant the African Union Full Membership

The Group of 20, comprised the world's richest and most powerful countries, will grant membership to the African Union. A top government official from South Africa, a G20 member, said that the language for the induction of AU into the G20 bloc was still being discussed but could be firmed up by Friday. VOA’s Mohamed Elshinnawi spoke to David Monda, professor of political science at City University of New York on the AU's membership to the bloc.
