Fighting Rages in Sudan as Cease-Fire Expires

Heavy fighting has resumed in Sudan’s capital, Khartoum. The violence follows the expiration on Saturday of the ceasefire negotiated by Saudi Arabia and the United States. Mohammed al-Ta’ishi, former member of Sudan’s Transitional Sovereign Council, tells Daybreak Africa host James Butty, fighting is spreading to Darfur and Kordofan states, and humanitarian situation in Khartoum is getting worse.
