Fatal Year For Reporters As Killings Increased Sharply in 2022

Dozens of journalists and media workers were killed last year, with the majority of the deaths being work related, the highest number since 2018. A report by the Committee to Protect Journalists, says the over 67 deaths occurred while covering the war in Ukraine and other killings in Latin America. VOA’s Maureen Ojiambo reports.
