Families Remain Stranded in Port Sudan

Hundreds of people are suffering extreme heat, lack of water and shelter as they remain in Port Sudan, one month after fleeing bombs and shelling in Sudan's capital, Khartoum.  Stranded families have been sleeping inside tents they’ve built from blankets, resorting to public shaded areas as an escape from the intense sunlight. Among them was a Sudanese mother Reem who, fearing for her child’s safety, pleaded for help from humanitarian entities before health conditions deteriorate.
