Exporting Bamboo Bicycles from Ghana

Boomers International, a bicycle production company based in Kumasi, Ghana, is making a name for itself among bike fans. Starting as a community-based project, the company is now a leading producer of bamboo bicycles in West Africa and currently exports bamboo bikes to the U.S. and other countries. For more on the company’s mission, VOA’s Paul Ndiho spoke to Kwabena Danso, CEO of Boomers International.
