Expert says Libya’s civil crisis could be complicated by actions taken by the country’s parliament

Libya’s parliament has voted to end the mandate of the rival Tripoli-based Government of National Unity. The parliament, led by Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, planned to serve on an interim basis but refused to step down until elections could be held. Wolfgang Pusztai, a former Austrian military attaché in Libya, told VOA senior analyst Mohamed Elshinnawi how this can complicate Libya’s crisis.
