EU Partners with Tunisia on Anti-Illegal Migration Program

Tunisian President Kais Saied, Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte, Italy’s Prime Minister Georgia Meloni and European Commission chief Ursula von der Leyen, Monday delivered a joint press conference where they announced a “strategic and comprehensive partnership” between the European Union and Tunisia that will witness the North African nation receiving over 100 million euros to help address illegal migration and smuggling.
