African Union Warns of Violence in Eswatini

The African Union has condemned the violence in Eswatini witnessed series of protests demanding democratic reforms. Activists say eight people were killed and dozens injured in clashes with police. Internet access has been limited while shops and banks are shuttered, straining communication and limiting access to basic goods under a dawn-to-dusk curfew. For Nightline Africa, VOA's Peter Clottey spoke to Vusi Shongwe, the exiled leader of the Swaziland Peoples Liberation Movement, who calls on the international community to intervene.
