Zimbabwean a capella group Nobuntu is in many ways breaking barriers as performers of Mbube, a historically male dominated music. Mbube often draws on themes from Ndebele folklore and stories. The group comprised of Tandela Moyo, Zanela Manenga, Joyline Sibanda, and Duduzile Sibanda tell VOA’s Jackson Mvunganyi that they started singing together after winning auditions held by a local music label
