Intense fighting in El Fasher, North Darfur State, between Sudan’s army and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces is wreaking havoc on civilians and devastating medical facilities. Doctors Without Borders, or MSF, reports that an airstrike destroyed its pediatric hospital in El Fasher, killing two children. Nabeel Biajo spoke with Claire Nicolet, MSF's Head of Emergency Response in Sudan, who said her team has treated 500 injured individuals, with at least 55 fatalities since Friday.
