‘Earth smiles’ key to minimizing climate change effects in Eastern Africa

Extensive droughts fueled by climate change have contributed to the desertification of land across eastern Africa, threatening the livelihoods of millions in the region. One company is investing in large scale solutions to help these at-risk communities— and it is doing it with a smile. VOA’s Anthony LaBruto reports.
