Mohammed Hamdan Dagalo, the commander of Sudan's paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF), has reiterated his dedication to a peaceful resolution of the ongoing conflict in the country. Dagalo affirms that the RSF will persist in their efforts to establish a civilian-led government and democracy. However, the Sudanese military has downplayed Dagalo's statements, asserting that the actions of the RSF on the ground contradict his remarks. For South Sudan in Focus, Michael Atit reports from Juba.
