A new report by the group Action Against Hunger says the world is facing a 53% shortfall in funds for hunger programs exacerbated by climate change, the COVID-19 pandemic and now Russia’s war in Ukraine. VOA’s Carol Van Dam spoke to Eric Bebernitz, director of external relations for Action Against Hunger, who explains previously vulnerable countries in Africa are mainly affected.
