This week VOA Africa is celebrating the 60th anniversary of VOA’s English to Africa service and looking back at programs over the years and their impact on African audiences. In addition, we explore how new social media platforms have widened our appeal to younger audiences. VOA Africa TV managing editor, Vincent Makori, joined VOA’s Esther Githui-Ewart to talk about the contribution of our reporters in Africa and collaborations with VOA affiliate stations that broadcast our radio and television programs and more.
