Botswana’s President Mokgweetsi Masisi has defended the country’s electoral body amid criticism of its preparedness with Wednesday’s early voting. It has been marred by a slow process and inadequate voting booths. Masisi, who is seeking a second and final term, told journalists after casting his vote that he is confident of victory.
