U.S. President Joe Biden referred to Congress a new strategy to prevent conflict and promote stability in six African countries, including Libya. According to a statement issued by the White House on Tuesday, the U.S. strategy focuses on laying the foundations for an elected national government in the north African nation, capable of governing, providing services and maintaining security throughout the country.
