BAL Profile: Cape Town Tigers

South Africa’s Cape Town Tigers are playing in their fourth consecutive season of the Basketball Africa League, BAL. They are also the home team of the Kalahari Conference at this year’s edition of the tournament. The Tigers have won several titles, including the South African Nation Championships in 2021 and 2022. They were also the Zone 6 Champion in 2021, the Road to BAL Elite 16 in 2022 and qualified for the quarterfinals of the tournament in 2022. Their roster includes eight local players. They also have two who are from the U.S. and one from South Sudan.
