AU Ambassador to US Talks Women's Digital Empowerment in Africa

Hilda Suka-Mafudze, the African Union ambassador to the U.S., says it's important for African countries invest more in the infrastructure of technology to support digital demands on the continent, particularly for women who already face a gender gap. Suka-Mafudze tells Africa 54 host Esther Githui-Ewart that women across the continent are demanding change and equal treatment.
