Angola VP Costa addresses COP29 summit

Angola’s Vice President Esperança da Costa addressed the COP29 U.N. Climate Summit in Baku Tuesday, where she highlighted the importance of increasing adaptation financing to assist developing countries that are particularly vulnerable to the adverse effects of climate change in dealing with loss and damage. She said the Loss and Damages Fund (LDP) should be used to help needy nations better co-operate with the effects of climate change.
