Angola, DRC ink deal to boost oil development

Angola and the Democratic Republic of the Congo have signed an agreement with new terms for the co-development of offshore Block 14, according to local media. Straddling the maritime border between Angola and the DRC, Block 14 boasts a production capacity of 3.29 million barrels of oil per year. The agreement was signed Wednesday in Angola’s capital, Luanda. For more on this deal, VOA’s Douglas Mpuga reached political analyst David Monda
