Sudan: Analyst Weighs in on 'Political Power' Play

A Sudanese analyst is weighing in on the 'political power play' at the center of the war in Sudan as residents in Khartoum reported fighting Wednesday on day two of a seven-day cease-fire brokered by a U.S.-Saudi led monitoring team. On Monday, leaders of the Sudan armed forces and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces or RSF, had agreed to cease fighting with the possibility of renewing the cease-fire agreement after its initial seven-day period. Previous cease-fires have failed amid continued violence.
