Kenyan President William Ruto arrived in Washington, Wednesday as part of a three-day official state, where he will meet with his counterpart, U.S. President Joe Biden, on Thursday. Analysts say the visit, which includes a lavish state dinner, along with high level meetings with American diplomats and businesspeople, is very symbolic of the importance of the U.S.-Kenya relations. VOA’s Vincent Makori spoke with executive directory Irũngũ Houghton of Amnesty International Kenya, about the visit.
