Algeria Seeks Chinese Investment

Chinese President Xi Jinping held talks with Algerian President Abdelmajid Tebboune, during a recent state visit to China, expressing China’s readiness to work with Algeria to accelerate the implementation of the outcomes of the first China-Arab States Summit. The move is expected to strengthen cooperation under the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, building relations between China, Africa and the Arab world. VOA’s Mohamed Elshinnawi spoke with professor William Lawrence about the strategic vision of China in Africa and the Arab world.
