As the world marks the 30th year of press Freedom, journalists in Africa face numerous challenges, ranging from government threats, lack of training and insecurity in their line of duty. VOA's Esther Githui-Ewart spoke to Angela Quintal, the Committee to Protect Journalists Africa program coordinator, about the challenges facing press freedom in Africa and what her organization is doing to stop them.
