African Business Group Pushes For ‘Bill of Rights’ In Cairo

The Annual Intra-African Trade Fair continues today in Cairo, Egypt. It presents a platform for stakeholders involved in African trade to meet and explore business opportunities and advance trade and investment on the continent. Tomorrow Tuesday, the African Continental Free Trade Area and the Africa Private Sector Summit will present the Private Sector Bill of Rights to create an enabling business environment in Africa. J Wendell Addy, the outgoing chair of the meeting, tells VOA’s James Butty, the Bill of Rights includes the right to peace, security and stability, and effective legal systems that protect the sanctity of business contract.
