As the U.S.-Africa Leader Summit ended, U.S. President Joe Biden expressed Washington's commitment to deepen and expand partnership with African countries to - as he says - better meet shared challenges and opportunities. The Biden administration pledged $70 billion in support to Africa. VOA's Peter Clottey spoke with David Sengeh, Sierra Leone's Minister of Basic and Senior Secondary Education and Chief Innovation Officer for the Directorate of Science, Technology and Innovation, who is calling on Washington for new engagement and partnership based on trust and accountability.
