The top U.S. official in South Sudan says Washington is concerned about the high number of reported abductions in the country. In a statement issued Friday, the U.S. ambassador to South Sudan, Michael J. Adler, called on the government to hold accountable people responsible not only for abductions but other forms of human rights violations.
