The people of Ebonyi state in southeast Nigeria are expressing gratitude to the late President, who led efforts to eradicate Guinea worm in their area. Thousands of people turned out today to meet Mozambique's main opposition leader Venancio Mondlane after he returned home from more than two months in exile as he asserts that he won the October presidential election.
