Cyclone Chido an intense storm last Saturday hit Mayotte, a French Indian Ocean archipelago. A phenomenon not experienced in the last 90 years. Some residents described it as an atomic blast. Authorities fear hundreds and possibly thousands of people may have died. Michael J.
