Voting progressed peacefully today in Somalia’s breakaway region of Somaliland’s presidential election. At the annual United Nations climate change meeting in Azerbaijan, developing regions, including Africa, argue that wealthy nations do not understand the structural and financial roadblocks they face in confronting climate change. Zimbabwe has recorded new cases of cholera several months after declaring the end of an outbreak that had killed more than 700 people over 18 months.
