At the United Nations General Assembly, Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy appealed for help against the invasion by Russian forces, and leaders also focused on Sudan’s conflict. The charity Oxfam says aid groups are undermined by what it calls the super-rich, saying they exacerbate problems such as extreme inequality and climate change. U.S. Africa Command is working with southern African countries to combat gender-based violence in their military forces.
