Malawi’s president and cabinet today said a military plane carrying Vice President Saulos Klaus Chilima did not arrive as scheduled earlier today at the Mzuzu International Airport, and efforts to contact the plane have failed. In Sudan's North Darfur state, displaced people and doctors say the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces are attacking hospitals and camps in the state capital of El Fasher. The U.S. and Kenya are exploring new opportunities to strengthen their ties, following President William Ruto's state visit to Washington last month.
